Week 001 — The In-Between Drop
It's the week between drops, the dead week, the part nobody posts about. Drop 015 (NPC Energy) shipped, Drop 016 (LOCK THE FUCK IN) is on the cutting table. Studio is quiet.
Quote of the week:
"I keep wearing the Crashout SZN hoodie to interviews and somehow getting the job" — customer DM
What we're watching: the comments under every Touch Grass Long Sleeve post are 50/50 "i needed to see this" and "too late for me." Both correct.
Drop 016 teaser: The phrase is LOCK THE FUCK IN. The mood is Locked In's older, angrier cousin. The Champion hoodie sample arrived this week. Photos when we have something worth showing.
One small thing: if you've been thinking about the WELCOMEDROP code — it works on every line. Use it. Or don't. We're not your boss.

Week 002 — Naming the Drop
Drop 016 has a phrase. LOCK THE FUCK IN. Yes, all caps. Yes, the F-word. No, we're not softening it for ads.
Why: the Locked In line is for the people doing the work quietly. LTFI is for the moment when polite focus isn't cutting it anymore — the 2am study session, the third-shift grind, the cram before the deadline. Same energy as Locked In, two beers in.
What we're hearing: half the early subscribers said "finally" and the other half said "my boss can never see this." Both correct. Wear it on weekends. Or don't — your boss isn't us.
What dropped: the Touch Grass Long Sleeve is the unexpected best-seller of the week. People keep buying it as a gift. The doom-scroller in your life knows what they need.
What's next: Drop 016 design samples back from Champion. Hoodie photos coming in Week 003. WELCOMEDROP code still works, still 15%, still your choice.

Week 003 — Drafts Are Real
The 5 Drop 016 SKUs now exist in Shopify. Status: Draft. Invisible to you. Real to us.
What that means: every tier in the LOCK THE FUCK IN line — Core Tee, Premium Tee, Long Sleeve, Crewneck, Hoodie — has a product ID, a price, a description, a tag. The shells are built. When the design comes back from the studio, we sync the art to the existing SKUs and flip Draft → Active. You see the drop appear. We don't have to scramble at launch.
This is the difference between "we're working on it" and "we're staging it."
Why it matters: nobody who actually launches a drop announces the drop and then builds the inventory. The pros build the inventory first, hide it as Draft, then announce. We're doing the boring version on purpose.
What dropped this week: a real /collections/lock-the-fuck-in landing page (auto-fills from the drafts the moment they go live), Lock The Fuck In in main nav, Crashout Diaries + Crashout Club + Wholesale + Collabs all linked in the footer. Nav structure is final.
What's next: the design is in revision. Mockups when they're worth showing. Don't trust anybody who shows you mockups before they're done.

Week 005 — Everything that happened this week (and we didn't sell anything)
The week before something happens.
Drop 016 is in the studio. The art is in the last round. Mockups are mockups, not products. We haven't sold a thing this week, and the inbox is still busy.
Here's what got built in the last seven days, all of it preparation:
The Manifesto is up. Long-form, at /pages/manifesto. It's the page that says out loud what we usually let the products say quietly. Read it or don't.
The Crashout Council is open for applications. /pages/creator-program. We're paying TikTok and Instagram creators 15-25% commission on every order their code drives. No quotas. Apply if your audience would actually wear this stuff. We'd rather pay you fairly than chase celebrity placement we can't afford.
The next drop's phrase is up for vote. /pages/whats-next. Five candidates on the shortlist for Drop 017. We're letting the people who actually wear Zensation decide. The phrase you vote for is the phrase we print, all five tiers. Vote by email or DM.
Seen On is staged. /pages/seen-on. The wall where customer-tagged fits will live, starting with Drop 016 launch week. Empty right now, on purpose — we want the first real post to be a real customer, not a brand photo.
The pattern across all of that: we're building infrastructure before we need it. By the time Drop 016 hits, the affiliate program is open, the community-vote page is live, the manifesto is something a journalist can link to. Nothing rushed on launch day.
The thing that surprised us: the manifesto took longer to write than three drops combined. Saying out loud what you've been doing implicitly is harder than the thing itself.
What we're watching: the slow-build TikTok comments on Touch Grass Long Sleeve are 50/50 split — "this is the one I needed" and "too late for me." Both correct, both buying. The Touch Grass line keeps converting on emotional honesty alone.
What's next: Drop 016 ships when the art is ready, not before. Crashout Diaries Week 006 will have a real number for the first time. Until then: this is the calm before. Don't trust anyone who pretends the calm before doesn't exist.
